1mg is the leading online pharmacy and healthcare platform in India. Since its inception, we have designed several offices for their growing team.

To accommodate the team of young and ambitious minds spearheading the company, the office had to be creative and stimulating. The focus was on providing a dynamic work environment that would encourage collaboration and flexible working.

The reception was vibrant, doubling as a lounge and breakout space. Solid walls were replaced by glass partitions, to enhance transparency. Window nooks were created to encourage collaboration and discussions. Bespoke elements were introduce to reinforce the brand like the jigsaw carpet as a reference to the company’s logo, pharmalogical salts on the wallpaper etc.  Several elements were added to the décor as references to pop culture, giving a personalized touch.

The design of their first office was an embodiment of ‘creating maximum impact with minimum intervention’. We had an opportunity to retain parts of the existing interiors, including the ceiling, flooring, and some partition walls. A design rooted in simplicity; this project allowed us to expand our understanding of sustainable practices.
