Architect (COA,ARB,RIBA) 

Spearheading design as a co-founder at Seed & Sky, Prem is a seasoned architect with over 18 years of experience. His expertise is in designing large scale Industrial, Commercial and Housing projects. A graduate from the Architectural Association in London, he has the experience of working on various award winning international projects including the Headquarters for Bloomberg in London, the zero-carbon Masdar City in Abu Dhabi, High Speed train stations in Mecca and Medina, and Fire Stations for London Fire Brigade.


In India, Prem has had the opportunity to lead the master-planning of Raynagar- India’s largest affordable housing project, in Solapur Maharashtra, as well as a large scale cyclone relief housing in Vishakhapatnam.  His keen interest in façade design is visible in the various industrial, commercial and Institutional buildings he has conceptualised. More recently, he has been involved with international brands for the design of their retail environment, developing local design details and guidelines. 


Prem is a green design enthusiast, with a passion for resolving complex details. He is a registered architect with Architectural Registration Board(ARB,UK), Council of Architecture(COA,India) and also a Chartered member of Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

Smita Shukla

Co Founder & Partner

Architect (COA) and Lead Interior Designer

Inspired by culture and context, Smita works across a range of disciplines including architecture, interior, product and graphic design. With over 18 years of experience, she has successfully delivered several award-winning architecture and interior design projects in India and the UK.

Smita specializes in interior design and has been part of the team working on high-quality projects at prestigious sites in the UK including the Buckingham and Blenheim Palaces, the Houses of Parliament at Westminster, Bupa Healthcare, the House of Fraser, Foyles Bookshops, among many others. In India, she has been involved in the design and delivery of multiple retail stores for international brands like M&S, H&M & Uniqlo, Corporate office fit-outs for start-ups as well as MNCs, design for QSRs, and high-end residential projects.

A personal interest in child-centric design has led her to focus on sustainable kids’ spaces and furniture. With meticulously chosen materials and kid-friendly designs, the ‘play’ line has allowed her to further experiment and develop her love for product and furniture design. An environmental enthusiast, her focus lies on built-to-last designs.

Smita brings with her a certain sensitivity towards the end user, and designs with a context-specific approach. A graduate of Ohio State University, USA, she is passionate about the creative learning process and has independently pursued painting, poetry, photography, art history, German, English literature, and philosophy. She is also a Cambridge University alumnus, where she studied to become a certified coach and mentor.
