Sequoia Capital

Poised and subtle, the offices for Sequoia Capital at the Mariott hotel in Aerocity, New Delhi are an exercise in understated luxury. A largely neutral colour palette of greys, whites and warm maple wood are complimented by indoor greens and plenty of natural light.

The plan works to create two separate zones, the public and the private, with the reception area acting as a point of transition. The public zone comprises of the entrance lobby, conference and meeting rooms, and the private zone comprises of the workspace, discussion areas and the pantry. The introduction of small discussion rooms and private working pods allows for user flexibility and act as spaces for rejuvenation and brainstorming.

Handcrafted details, like a sinuous timber door handle, were introduced to offer a nuanced experience. Acoustics were a key consideration while designing the conference rooms; bespoke acoustic panels were designed to cater to this requirement.
